Choosing between proofing baskets & bread lames comes down to more than basket shape. One kit spells out a broad set of bread-scoring and dough-shaping tools, while the other keeps the choice centered on a lower listed price and a straightforward basket set. Both cover round and oval proofing formats, so the useful question is whether the added accessory detail is worth the price difference.
Quick verdict
Pick Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set 9-inch Round & 10-inch Oval Sourdough Kit with Tools when an explicitly itemized tool package is the priority. Pick REXCH 9Pc Banneton Proofing Basket Set Round Oval Sourdough Bread Baking Kit when its Easy to Clean feature is a useful tie-breaker. The choice is mainly about kit detail versus a lower listed price.

Where each product wins
Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set wins for named tools
The Banneton set is the clearer match for shoppers searching for a bread scoring tool and sourdough shaping tools in one package. It includes a bread lame with five replaceable blades, washable linen liners, dough and bowl scrapers, a dough whisk, a cleaning brush, and a blade cover. That level of itemization makes the kit easier to assess against a baking setup that needs more than a banneton alone.
REXCH 9Pc Banneton Set wins on price
REXCH wins when the listed-price gap is the deciding factor. At $14.99 versus $27.50, the two sets have a $12.51 spread. REXCH also calls out an Easy to Clean feature, giving it a second concrete point of appeal for shoppers who want a simpler cleanup cue alongside their proofing equipment. Its title presents the purchase as a 9Pc baking kit rather than a single basket.
Product notes
Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set
The Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set suits a shopper who cares about a clearly defined material profile as well as a multi-piece baking setup. It uses natural Indonesian rattan with a smooth, splinter-free profile, and Beige is the listed finish. Those specifics give it a concrete reason to choose when material and appearance are part of the buying decision. The limitation is Hand Wash Only, so cleanup calls for hand washing rather than dishwasher use. Choose the Banneton set when those material details support selecting the higher-priced package; the REXCH set is the lower-priced route if the accessory package matters less.
REXCH 9Pc Banneton Set
REXCH 9Pc Banneton Set makes the clearest case for a straightforward choice. It uses natural rattan and carries an Easy to Clean feature, giving it a concrete appeal for shoppers who want a simple cleanup cue alongside proofing equipment. Its title identifies a 9Pc banneton baking kit, so it reads as a grouped setup rather than a single basket. The limitation is Hand Wash Only, which keeps the care requirement firmly in the hand-washing category. Choose REXCH when its easy-clean cue and lower listed price fit your routine; choose Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set when the more detailed tool lineup matters more.
Final choice by use case
- For bread scoring and shaping: choose Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set. The included lame, replaceable blades, liners, scrapers, whisk, brush, and cover make this use case explicit.
- For the lower listed price: choose REXCH 9Pc Banneton Set. The $12.51 spread is the concrete reason to accept a less extensively itemized accessory package.
- For a tie on basket format: neither set separates itself; both list round and oval baskets. Let the named tools or the price difference make the final call.
